Deck the Halls: Christmas Events in Liberty County Kick Off This Week

The holiday season is upon us, and Liberty County is gearing up to celebrate in style. Starting this week, a slew of Christmas events will take place throughout the county, offering something for everyone to enjoy. From festive parades and tree lighting ceremonies to holiday markets and Santa meet-and-greets, Liberty County is the perfect place to get into the holiday spirit.

This week marks the beginning of a month-long celebration of Christmas events in Liberty County. On Friday, the town of Hinesville will host its annual Christmas Parade, featuring floats, marching bands, and of course, an appearance by Santa Claus himself. The parade will begin at 6:00 PM and will make its way through the streets of downtown Hinesville, ending at the Liberty County Courthouse. Following the parade, the town will host a tree lighting ceremony, complete with hot cocoa, cookies, and caroling.

Other Christmas Events in Liberty County

In addition to the Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony, there are plenty of other holiday events taking place in Liberty County. On Saturday, the Liberty County Recreation Department will host a Holiday Market, featuring local vendors selling handmade crafts, baked goods, and other unique gifts. The market will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Liberty County Community Complex.

On Sunday, the City of Flemington will host a Santa's Workshop, where kids can meet Santa and make their own holiday crafts. The event will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Flemington City Hall. And on Monday, the City of Midway will host a Holiday Concert, featuring local musicians performing festive tunes. The concert will take place at 7:00 PM at the Midway City Hall.
